Dr. Amanda L. Young is a doctorate-educated, double board-certified nurse practitioner with over 15 years of specialized experience in plastic surgery. After completing her education as a Nurse Practitioner, she joined the esteemed Hansjorg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, where she trained under several world-renowned plastic surgeons, mastering the most cutting-edge and up-to-date procedures in the field.

Throughout her 12 years at NYU, Dr. Young has made significant contributions to the department and plastic surgery education. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented her findings at numerous national and international plastic surgery conferences, and was a frequent guest on Doctor Radio on Sirius XM Channel 110 on The Plastic Surgery Show,The Nurse Practitioner Show, The Dermatology Show, as well as several others.

Her passion for education extends beyond her own practice — training nursing and medical students, fellow nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, fellows, and attending physicians in patient evaluation, advanced injectable administration, and advanced laser treatment techniques. She has introduced new technology to the plastic surgery department and mentored other providers in transitioning to successful aesthetics practices.

Having spent nearly two decades caring for adults and children, Dr. Young brings a compassionate and natural approach to her aesthetics practice. Her “slow and steady” approach is perfect for those undergoing these treatments for the first time, and her long-time patients remain loyal because of her consistency and partnership with meeting their goals. A world traveler, Dr. Young has also treated patients on medical missions to Haiti, India, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
